Hello from Syrah

Hello All

You may know me from other forums by other names. One for each of my personalities

I live in Southern Tassie and I'm waiting, waiting to get a house built on the land where I have started growing an orchard and vegie garden.

I have been growing vegies since I can remember and my Grandfather was a great influence on me.

I love those warm plants: chillis, tomatoes, eggplants, capsicums, figs and grapes. I dont let the cold get the better of me.

I love cooking anything except offal

I'm glad to have found another Aussie gardening site.

Hi Syrah/Helen - I wondered when you'd find us, you'll find a few familiar names here! I was down your way last week but only overnight for the craft fair. How is the house coming along? Or has it stopped due to cold weather. Feel free to talk about anything you like, there are interest sections that might interest you apart from gardening and we're always open to suggestion for anything else. My figs are doing really well. I still have them in pots but might put them out soon. Again, lovely to see you here, Linda

I must say great website. I have been hanging out for a gardening website. I've been lurking at other websites but wanted one where people really know they vegie stuff.
