Artful - a standard dwarf bearded iris

I think this is Lemoncello - will have to check tomorrow.

Shindig - I love the colours in this!

It would have been better to take the photos BEFORE I put the soaker hose on, but I didn't have the camera with me at the time :-(

I like them all - if I had to choose one I'd probably go with the yellow because I love a spot of yellow in the garden that's occasional and suddenly there Smile

I have a pure white iris in flower at the moment - don't know its name though Shocked

it is looking quite good this year because it has been a very dry month, when it is rainy the snails come out and chew the flowers into shreds each night. Evil or Very Mad

I saw one posted somewhere by Thee. It is Iris albicans, the old farm yard iris, that you often see in bloom at this time of year, along the roadways. I have some growing in my garden so will try and post you a photo tomorrow, for identification of yours. There are very few tall beardeds in bloom at present (here), mostly the smaller ones and the species ones. We are probably around 3 weeks behind much of Victoria, so you may see the talls in bloom in other parts.
Cheers, Jan

I love 'em all, the long and the short and the tall.
LOL
there is just something about Iris flowers, they seem to welcome you to look deeper into them don't they ?
