A cutting nightmare!

Post  Blossom on Tue Jun 17, 2008 12:24 pm

Just cut the little squares triangles and rectangles for my next quilt - 650 in total. What a job - and that doesn't include the borders! All being well I'll start piecing it tomorrow then I'll find out where I might have gone skew!

This one is for Amy. King size - 8 different blues and three buttermilk colours. I've put the first of 7 sections together today - it's taken all morning but accurate cutting meant it went together really well. Getting the points to line up is the big thing. This one will be all patchwork and no applique. Soon as I've got a bit more done I'll post a pic - I'm very pleased with the way it's coming along. Then when this is done I'll make one for myself.
