Over at the rain gauge at Luckyland....

Post by Lucky1 on Thu Mar 27, 2008 10:52 am

Thought I'd start the chat off.

Cold here not a lot of rain...... areas that haven't been watered in the garden of late.... look dry. Other areas getting water ..... look wetish still.

More rain or should I say showers may fall, but not a lot in it.

How did you other gardeners fair if you have had rain lately???

From the rain gauge:

14mm Tuesday morning.
10mm Wednesday morning.
1.5mm Thursday morning.

Hoping for more showers. But I'm very thankful for every single drop we received. Smile

Over night on Tuesday...... 2.75
Yesterday morning ......3 mm

So I guess the weatherman had it right for a change... about 5 mm to fall and we got 5.75

Ha!
This one's easy a big 0

Not a drop! Well maybe a couple of drops but none that counted!

But we did have ice on the car this morning so I guess that had to melt into water! confused

We're usually pretty safe until at least Anzac Day but this year has just been so totally crazy we'll probably end up with snow this winter. Shocked

Haven't had any snow here since May 2000.

I found a way to make it rain - plant carrot seeds. This is the second lot I've put in only to be followed by torrential rain - they are probably over the road by now!
