Away for a few days
We're heading for Hobart tomorrow - I need to have a change and stop crying every time I do something that reminds me of how much Dougal was part of our daily lives. So some Ethan and Liam grandson activity might jerk me into gear. And a bit of retail therapy with my daughter. Also meeting up with a few people from the Garden Express forum at Pete's patch - forecast rain - should be fun. Leaving Thursday back Sunday. I want to check out Pete's Brussels Sprouts against mine!
Re: Away for a few days
Have fun! Yes, a little walk around Pete's Patch will be interesting.
I remember doing that with Mercury12 and we kept comparing his plants with ours. That was great fun. At one stage we looked at a plant (can't remember which) and both of us said, 'mine looks better than this', and both of us immediately looked round guiltily.
Enjoy your time with the family!

Re: Away for a few days
Thanks for your support. I just want to be more composed when I tell the girlies because they adored Dougal and I have to be available for them. All packed and dinner booked for Saturday night. Thanks for reminding me - I'll take some pictures.
