That's the book - but my daughter was on the lookout for the latest strategies for learning vocabulary and becoming literate - found this site. I think they're onto something. If you are interested in literacy and kids have a read.

Interesting, but of course, I'm always interested in kids learning.
Little miss 9 months old was sitting on my knee last night, and she is keen to learn to talk - LOL. She likes to copy sounds, and i was holding a set of car keys and saying K ....Keys, repeatedly. She watched my mouth closely and finally came up with a forced cough - LOL. her closest approximation to the K sound. I think she will be very much into big words in a few short years.
