I was looking for the church where I was christened and found this site - lots to find out if you are looking for connections to Central Qld.
There is a list of churches and I found an index with all the Church of England canons /archdeacons from 1891.
Of more interest perhaps is the index of names of those buried at the Neerkol orphanage private cemetery.
There is also an article about the Hopkins family who were the first Quakers to move to the district - in 1865 and historical photographs including the schools.
One link is to the CQU library which has some family history documents - country death and marriages on microfiche - and so on
